Wonderful Experience

I appreciated the early access to my room. I needed to change clothes for a wedding. The room was very clean and of a perfect size. The shower was invigorating and prepared me for the day.
I noticed the pub closes relatively early. I discovered this information after my arrival. Early messages informed me about this closure and the lack of breakfast service.

Acceptable Hotel Experience

friendly staffclean roomfluffy towelsbad dinner menupoor air conditioninglimited choice
The staff were friendly. They let me borrow a charger since I forgot mine. My room was clean. The towels were very fluffy and white.
The dinner menu was not very good. I thought the food was just ok. The air conditioning barely worked in the room. It switched off after two hours.

spacious roomdark roomno soundproofing
the room was spacious and clean. towels were large and soft.
The room was very dark. i booked breakfast and an evening meal, but i was told a couple of weeks before my stay that no cooked breakfast would be offered. instead, i received a voucher that i could use in the bar or toward an evening meal, limited to one course (it was a real letdown). there was also no soundproofing, so saturday night was very noisy. I heard everything above and to the side of me, including some very private noises.

the bed was comfortable , a positive aspect of the room.
The room i received was quite small, not at all worth the price i paid per night , it seemed like a pricing issue , the soundproofing was poor . I could hear every movement and toilet flush from the room above , even an alarm at 7am on sunday disturbed my sleep.
